The visit provided an opportunity to understand Y International UK’s extensive global supply-chain network and explore avenues for greater collaboration with Indian businesses. Discussions highlighted the significant opportunities for Indian exporters and businesses to leverage Y International’s sourcing and distribution capabilities to access international markets. The India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is expected to further strengthen these opportunities by facilitating trade, enhancing market access and creating new avenues for Indian businesses to expand their global footprint.

The Consul General emphasised the importance of strengthening India–UK trade and economic partnerships, particularly by connecting Indian enterprises with established global supply-chain networks and creating opportunities for increased exports, investment and business collaboration. The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment to deepening commercial ties and unlocking the potential of the India–UK economic partnership.
