The Post would consider Refund of Visa Fee to the applicant/s in cases where excess / multiple visa fee payment was done over and above the prescribed visa fee for all Regular/Paper Visa granted by the Consulate General of India, Birmingham.
The applicant should make the refund claim through email (cons[dot]birmingham[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in) to Consulate General of India, Birmingham, providing copies of all relevant documents: Proof of payment, Visa application, Copies of passport, Applicant’s bank account details. This request must be made within 03 months of having made such excess / multiple payments.
No refund claim will be entertained after 03 months of such payment.
The Post will examine the claims and endeavour to settle all claims (where there are no disputes) as soon as possible after the receipt of refund requests.
