Calling Young Indian-Origin Scholars and Innovators! -91st edition of the Know India Programme (KIP)

The 91st edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) for the cohort of Scholars and Innovators will be held in India from 15–28 November 2026.

This two-week programme offers young people of Indian origin aged 18–23 years an opportunity to explore their ancestral homeland, experience India's rich cultural heritage and gain insights into its development and contemporary achievements.

The programme is open to eligible Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

Under the revised eligibility framework, the programme caters to two cohorts:

Scholars and Innovators: 18–23 years

Young Professionals: 24–28 years

Separate editions will be organised for each cohort, with 25 participants per edition. Each programme will run for two weeks, inclusive of travel time.
